I've finished the ax but I kinda cheated a bit with the texturing of the ax. The thing is I searched Google for the textures and overlaid them on my base color and from there I had the base detail the only thing that i needed to do was add all the fine detail.
I promise when I have a digital drawing pad I will make all my textures from scratch. :)
